Real Weddings: Meet Emily

Emily and Chris were very conscious about keeping their wedding day simple. Emily chose our Kensington Skirt and Heritage Bustier and was the epitome of relaxed elegance. Their ceremony took place at the historic Wickliffe House in Charleston. Their outdoor reception featured boiled peanuts and a bourbon and cigar bar, where everyone was encouraged to relax under the stars.

Our dresses really do get to have all of the fun. Belmont and L'Elysee were whisked away to the Tuscan countryside for this amazing shoot by Mike Larson. At least we get to live vicariously through their adventures!

Real Weddings: Meet Stephanie

Stephanie and Damon were married at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville. Stephanie looked just the right amount of rock n' roll in our Poplar dress. The couple was married in an intimate ceremony on the outdoor terrace and moved the party inside to their reception to dance the night away.

Inspiration: Grand Palais with Perry Vaile

So not every bride is a princess and not every bride needs a castle but we are SO into this twist on the fairytale. Our Grand Palais has been beautifully captured by Perry Vaile in the Old Sheldon Church Ruins just outside of Charleston. The dilapidated gothic architecture and gnarled oaks give this shoot edge and makes it the perfect counterpoint to our flowing blush Grand Palais.
