Inspiration: Celestine Dreams of Maui

If you're feeling the harsh of the winter like we are here in NYC, come with us on this inspirational adventure to Maui courtesy of Matthew Ree photography and our Celestine gown.   Can't you just feel that wind whip through your hair and the train of chiffon tugging as you walk through the sand?  Sighhhhh, a girl can dream. 

Beach weddings have a special place in my heart - there's just something about communing with nature that lends itself to the celebration of love.  Maybe it's the reminder of the simple things in life.   The raw elements of sand and sea need no decoration and the world is stripped away for that moment of all its complications and distractions.  

With that in mind, Celestine suits the mood just right.  Ease and grace and a touch of wild abandon make this dress the perfect breezy alternative to the norm of constraint and structure.

Engagement: Mara in Paris

Patrick popped the question in Paris and Ian Holmes Photography was there to capture the beautiful moments that followed (Mara said yes!). Their romantic photos under the Eiffel Tower and among the cobblestone streets embody that French je ne sais quoi. Sometimes the simplest styling packs such a punch! Take this shoot created by Kendal of Q|A Designs for example. Kendal chose to showcase a few of our separates and just look at how she rocked them (of course, Venita Aspen, with those oh-so-long lashes, natural hair and that mega watt smile helped make the job easier). We love that Kendal left the Fleur Bustier untucked from our Chambord Skirt creating a little crop top goodness. And how 'bout the drama of the Cloud Nine Capelet in those last few shots. All white washed, sun lit goodness.

Natural white and ivory silk charmeuse and chiffon are asymmetrically draped to create an a-line skirt with the gentlest movement. This timeless beauty is right at home under the centuries old oaks.
