Real Weddings: Meet Dunja

Dunja and Johnny said their I-dos at Topping Rose House, a luxury haven in the heart of the Hamptons. Dunja wowed in our Heritage Bustier, Kensington skirt, and All That Glitters Sash. There are a number of unique touches that make this day so special. The couple and their guests indulged in a drool-worthy cake made of artisanal cheeses in addition to their traditional sweet cakes. This may be the first time we have seen wedding drone photography, and we've gotta say, it's excellent! Scroll on to see the bride doing her part to liven up the dance floor with a little impromptu tambourine playing.

Real Weddings: Meet Nicole

Sean, Nicole, and 'The Wonderful, Fantastic, Very Good, Not Very Bad At All Wedding Day.' These bibliophiles chose a little play on the notable 70s children's book title (Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) to grace their programs and set the tone for their celebration. When you start with a couple as rad as this, add their nearest and dearest, and dress them up in their wedding day finest, 'wonderful and fantastic' doesn't even begin to cover it. Sean and Nicole said their I dos at the Water Witch Club at Monmouth Hills, New Jersey. The charming, homey venue offers sweeping views of Sandy Hook, the Atlantic Ocean, and the city skyline from one of the highest points on the eastern seaboard. Nicole chose our Fleur Bustier, Kensington Skirt, and Juliet Sash. 'Not very bad' indeed!

Real Weddings: Meet Natalie

Natalie and Garrett's Palm Springs wedding was DIY Boho beauty at its finest. Natalie handmade all of the macramé decor. The guest's seating cards were made from photos of the couple's favorite adventures together. Natalie's mom even baked all of the cookies for the welcome bags! The Ace hotel in Palm Springs was the perfect venue with its ultra-cool, desert vibe. The bride chose our Plié Bodice + Kensington Skirt, which was just right for this laid back, free-spirited celebration.

Check out Natalie and Garett's equally charming vintage VW bus engagement session here.

Real Weddings: Meet Minnie

Minnie and Marshall were married on solstice weekend on Orcas Island, WA, Minnie's childhood home. Their wedding was earthy and elegant, inspired by the natural beauty of the island. Their arbor was crafted from driftwood collected off the beach, freshly picked flowers graced the tables, and the couples guests dined on local oysters and fresh, wild-caught salmon. Minnie and Marshall's friends and family rolled up their sleeves and created nearly everything from scratch. The bride's dad planted a field of poppies, just for the occasion! The bride's mother reclaimed a lost love of sewing to create a bodice that the bride wore with our Kensington Skirt. All of the personal touches made this love filled day truly one-of-a-kind.

Real Weddings: Meet Rebecca

Magic Mountain, wedded bliss. Rebecca and Adam picked a symbolic year to be married in the great wide open with this year marking 100 years of stewardship of America's national parks! The couple started their destination festivities with a pre-wedding photoshoot in Yosemite. There was so much natural splendor to fall in love with making it a splendid location in which to celebrate their love. Rebecca chose to wear our Kensington, as she and Adam explored the striking waterfalls, deep valleys, grand meadows, and ancient giant sequoias and we couldn't be more pleased. Here's to your continuing adventure you two.

Real Weddings: Meet Mary Elizabeth

Mary Elizabeth and Caleb's day began like most other days in Florida, with a little bit of rain. But, you know what they say, rain on your wedding day is good luck! And these two were undaunted. The day cleared and the couple said their I-dos at the First Baptist Church of Pensacola surrounded by colorful stained glass windows.

They celebrated with friends and family at the Museum of Commerce in downtown Pensacola. A gorgeous brick turn-of-the-century warehouse, which holds a reconstructed 1890s era streetscape. Mary Elizabeth chose our Fleur Bustier and Kensington Skirt. The perfect set for her sweet vintage inspired celebration.

Real Weddings: Meet Anna

Anna + Ben chose to have a destination wedding in Hawaii. With Ben's family traveling in from Australia and Anna's from the US it was an ideal meeting place. From our vantage point it looks like the perfect day all around. Their ceremony spot was right on the ocean in a grove a palm trees, their weather all sunshine, and their guests all smiles. We are in love with Anna's custom creation. Her bustier is actually a version of our Citrine Dress and it paired so beautifully with her Kensington Skirt. Congratulations you two and Aloha (which in addition to being used to say hello and goodbye, is a catch-all word of good intentions...and we are sending all the best your way!
