Coralia

French Wedding Inspiration with Coralia

Did someone say D-R-E-A-M-Y? French weddings typically feature warm, muted tones against naturally stunning backdrops, and this inspiration is no exception!

What makes it unique, however, are the modern textural elements. Coralia, with its soft, linear lines provides just the right amount of interest, and the gown pairs beautifully with the bride’s asymmetric bouquet and boho-inspired updo. Speaking of modern and textural, we love the contrast between the groom’s sleek suit and curly man bun.

Now how do you say scroll for more in French?

Inspiration: Oregon Coast Elopement with Coralia

It’s the middle of winter, so we’d like nothing more than to be transported to today’s beach inspiration on the Oregon Coast.

Photographer Jenny Losee chose golden hour for these portraits, and for good reason! The Coralia gown looks great in any light, but here, the gown’s nude/blush hue takes on a warm, ethereal glow. We love how the gown’s linear lines mimic the shore’s rolling waves, bringing art and nature full circle.

But also, can we discuss the groom’s dashing white tuxedo jacket and that wild, textured bouquet? Elopement goals.

Real Weddings: Meet Katy

Katy and Aaron tied the knot in Valle de Guadalupe. Never heard of it? We hadn't either...until Katy introduced us to it. Turns out Valle de Guadalupe is Mexico's wine country and we all need to go, like, yesterday!!! This trail blazing couple wanted to do something different that felt truly and uniquely them. As foodies and travel buffs this special place fit the bill. Katy wore our Coralia gown.  From the bride: "She was unlike any dress I had ever seen, and I was particularly drawn to the unique texture of the fabric. Later, when so much of our wedding became about textures: brightly woven fabrics purchased from indigenous women which served as table runners for naked wooden tables, the natural patterns of tile, wood, and stone found throughout Bruma, where our wedding was held, I would look back on that moment, when I fell in love with the texture of Coralia before anything else, as a moment that shaped the event that our wedding would become." Yep, meant to be. Isn't it great how life works out like that?! Congratulations you two.

Inspiration: Coralia shot by Valentina Glidden

This inspiration for this shoot started with the location and we can see why. The Mission San Juan Capistrano was founded in 1776. The historic stonework, the bells of its Great Stone Church, and the graceful arches transport you to another era. The spirit of our Coralia gown is made manifest in the rustic courtyard, along the cobblestone paths. Also, can we talk about all of the texture going on in this shoot? Coralia's subtle banding and warm tone is pastel perfection amidst the earthy masonry, partnered with that gorgeous bouquet. We are so thankful for the preservation of this gorgeous place and for this über talented team.
