Real Weddings: Meet Jennifer

Meet #carolhannahbride Jennifer!

Jennifer and Ranard’s wedding ceremony took place at Norfolk Botanical Garden in Virginia in the Redwood Glade. A pair of redwood trees served as an organic and symbolic backdrop to the couple’s vows. We loved Jennifer’s celebratory dance down the aisle, which reflected the overall excitement and joy of the day!

The Midsummer’s Night Dream themed continued at the Commune VA, a sustainable farm-to-table event space.

The bride wore Celestine. with a delicate drop necklace and an equally as delicate arm party. The styling, combined with the gown’s draping and fluid movement, proved that less is more. Navy was the perfect accent color, represented in both the bridesmaids dresses and Jennifer’s ribbon bouquet.

Congrats cuties!

Inspiration: Modern Neutral Wedding with Celestine

From the nature-inspired bridal bouquet to the cream pillar candles, today’s inspiration makes a strong argument for a neutral wedding palette. The pièce de résistance is, of course, the Celestine gown. (What can we say? We’re biased.) The soft chiffon drapes! The easy silhouette! The ethereal vibes!

Who said simplicity had to be boring?

Did someone say elopement goals?

This boho inspired forest elopement has all the dreamiest details: wild blooms, cushion seating and a live sketch artist. Oh, and we can’t forget the gown! Celestine is the epitome of ease with subtle jewelry and floral flats. Perfect for posing on trees and dancing the night away.

Real Weddings: Meet Shannon

Meet #carolhannahbride Shannon!

Shannon was effortlessly elegant in the Celestine gown, and it looked right at home in this romantic outdoor setting. We love how Shannon paired her wedding dress with an easy updo and some sprigs of greenery because it was all she really needed.

Also, these golden hour photos are just pure perfection.

Congrats cuties!

Real Weddings: Meet Bethann

Today's real bride is a super cutie!  Bethann's description of her and Alex's wedding was too sweet not to share in her own words:

"The wedding took place in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada at Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery. The rehearsal dinner and girls getting ready all took place down the road at an old heritage home we rented. The venue was very special to us as the winery is a small, boutique winery owned by my husband Alex’s parents Norma Jane & Blair Harber. The winery is situated on farmland land that has been in Norma Jane’s family for 5 generations. The farmhouse house she grew up in can still be seen on the property. The year before our wedding, we both worked on the winery (a first for me, but Alex has been involved in the family business for his whole adult life). All of our vendors are local people we love (our florist and my hair stylist are sisters, for example) with from Niagara-on-the-Lake or from nearby Toronto where Alex & I currently live. My family all came from Kingston, Ontario to the wedding and it was particularly special for me as I am the eldest of 6 siblings"

Also take special note of adorable Zora, Bethann's long-time pup! The best accessory to her Celestine gown we could ask for!

Inspiration: Celestine Dreams of Maui

If you're feeling the harsh of the winter like we are here in NYC, come with us on this inspirational adventure to Maui courtesy of Matthew Ree photography and our Celestine gown.   Can't you just feel that wind whip through your hair and the train of chiffon tugging as you walk through the sand?  Sighhhhh, a girl can dream.

Beach weddings have a special place in my heart - there's just something about communing with nature that lends itself to the celebration of love.  Maybe it's the reminder of the simple things in life.   The raw elements of sand and sea need no decoration and the world is stripped away for that moment of all its complications and distractions.

With that in mind, Celestine suits the mood just right.  Ease and grace and a touch of wild abandon make this dress the perfect breezy alternative to the norm of constraint and structure.

Real Weddings: Meet Lauren

Lauren and Ethan were married at the Tudor Arms Hotel, in Cleveland. This Gothic Revival building was completed in 1933 and was originally an exclusive club. It was the perfect setting for their lavish and swanky nuptials. Lauren chose our Celestine gown. The flowing silk chiffon and crepe de chine suited her perfectly. Her sparkling cape added just the right amount of glitz and glam. Congratulations you two!
