Real Weddings: Meet Laurie

We can’t get over Laurie and Peter's wedding. Not only do they have the best bridesmaids' dresses we have ever seen, they also just happen to have great advice to pass on! Clearly we had to share. To cut down on the pressure and stress of the wedding planning process, Laurie offered the following words of wisdom. “Remember that your wedding day is not the most important day of your life (no matter how many people tell you it is). It shouldn’t be! Your wedding day is, however, the biggest, most extravagant party you’ll probably ever plan. So, take advantage of that and make it yours! Also, splurge on a great photographer/videographer – it’s hard to remember every detail, so it’s such a gift to have beautiful images that captured the day to look back on!” Such wise words, and we also recommend taking a cue from her amazing maids' style.

Peder and Laura were married on the farm where Peder spent his childhood. Talk about perfectly sentimental! They kept their palette muted and allowed their gorgeous surrounding to really set the tone for their wedding. Their laid back, day-of vibe was a culmination of hours of DIY and carefully crafted spaces for their guests to enjoy. Laura chose our Lace Bustier and Mulberry Skirt, an ideal combination for all of the outdoor enjoyment!

Real Weddings: Meet Alexandra

This Greek wedding was full of beautiful tradition and a few unexpected touches. Alexandra and Adam were married at Charleston's Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity. Just look at that altar! Alexandra wore our Kensington Skirt in ivory, Lace Bustier, and cathedral length Alencon Veil. With its mix of textures and tones the combination was a fresh take on a classic silhouette. We love the striking simplicity of these lilies of the valley and lavender bouquets so much we can smell them!
