You know how they say everything is bigger in Texas? It's clear that this love is like that. Rachel and Kevin mixed clean lines and modern sensibility with their rustic setting and turned out an event just as chic as can be. They chose lucite details, lots of white and an altar that seemed just made to frame the sun. The style certainly carried though to the wedding part too! Check out those bridesmaids in pantsuits and super dapper dudes. We love the crisp contours of our Heritage Bustier + La Reine Skirt (simplified) in this setting, specifically the juxtaposition of this combo in the fields of prairie grass and against the expanse of corrugated metal. Rachel and Kevin under those clouds, against the clear blue sky, saying I do as the sun sets...if there is a more storybook setting for starting your life as husband and wife we can't imagine it. Congratulations you two!

Frances and Ralph were married at the Thomas Bennet House in Charleston. The home, circa 1825, is one of the most magnificent homes in the city. It has been lovingly restored. It offers equally gorgeous interior and outdoor spaces, just the right fit for this classic southern wedding. The garden's traditional beauty, with its large brick courtyard and fountain, was perfect for saying "I do" and then partying into the night. Frances chose an ultra-romantic look with our Heritage Bustier, Customized La Reine Skirt, and Empress Veil for her ceremony. Then she danced the night away in our La Reine Shorty. As you can see this couple partied like royalty!

The joy shone bright throughout Hallie and Glenn's big day, and all of the happy moments were expertly captured by Erich McVey. The look on the bridesmaid's faces when they saw Hallie in her dress for the first time was absolutely priceless! We second their collective (jaw-dropped) opinion. Hallie looked all-kinds-of-chic in our Alliette Bodice and La Reine Skirt. The rich fabrics and dramatic silhouette were right at home in the enchanted forest theme. Hallie's ear-to-ear smile was her most dazzling accessory. The bride changed into our Flights of Fancy Skirt to take her through the late night festivities. Congratulations you two, and may happiness follow you all your days.

I had such a blast this past weekend down in Charleston, South Carolina with our retailer Southern Protocol. Between a runway show at Charleston Fashion Week, a cocktail party at the shop, and the trunk show, we rode a whirlwind of pretty all weekend! Thank you to everyone who came to any or all of it! It was quite the homecoming.
