Beach Wedding

Inspiration: Kyanite and the Sea

The Kyanite gown is a classic because she is the epitome of relaxed but elevated casual glamour.  For beach weddings, this silk jersey (read:  comfy stretch!) knit picks up just the perfect amount of subtle sheen from the sunshine and flows and moves with you over the sand just the way you want. A low, open back with a dramatic draped cowl make her the best friend of a laid back, bohemian bride looking to make a statement!

Inspiration: Ianassa in Hawaii

By land or by sea, our Ianassa gown is living her best life in this inspiration shoot by Matthew Ree.  Right about now we are feeling extra thankful for these sun-kissed images for keeping our hearts warm as the temps outside drop. Who is up for a weekend in Maui?

Inspiration: Senara in Hawaii

Two parts wind, one part water and just the right amount of that special magic that Matthew Ree adds to the equation. This styled shoot is perfection by the numbers. Lucky enough to have worked with Matthew in the past, we didn't hesitate when he asked to photograph a selection of our gowns during his Hawaii photography workshop for CLY by Matthew Ree. And man oh man just look at the beauty he captured! Stay tuned in the weeks to come for more of this Maui goodness.

Inspiration: Driftwood Beach and Monticello

Siren and sailor. We are completely seduced by this driftwood inspiration shoot by Emily Katharine of The Ganeys. It looks as though our Monticello gown has walked right out of the sea. The draped chiffon gown's washed silk and organic texture embodying the currents and waves themselves. With every detail perfected, from the abalone table runner to the delicate coral cake topper, and that sun-bleached bouquet, this seaside love story is one for the ages.

Inspiration: Erato by Paul Simon

The raw power of the ocean and the raw beauty of our Erato are perfectly matched in this shoot by Paul Simon Photography and Janna Brown Design. The castles in the sand backdrop is straight out of a dreamscape, a reality we can hardly believe exists on the shores of Newport California. All movement, all drama, all as it should be by the sea.

Inspiration: Oceane by the Shore

With frothy waves of misty blue tulle, the Oceane gown makes a siren out of all of us whether by the lake, pond, stream or sea! An unconventional gown color sets the perfect jumping off point for inspiration off the beaten path, proving that leaving white behind doesn't have to be a scary thing!

Real Weddings: Meet Sami

Sami and Jason are total travel addicts, so a destination wedding was a natural fit. They wanted to choose a place that offered warm weather, natural beauty, a hearty culture, with opportunities for adventure. And most importantly they wanted to celebrate in an energetic and welcoming community. They found it all in Fiji! Sami and Jason live abroad in Hong Kong and Singapore, which means not seeing friends and family from home all that often. The couple created a weeklong experience for their guests. And the time together, in their stunning locale, made it the journey of a lifetime.

Real Wedding: Meet Kevyn

Beauty on the beach is the best way to describe Kevyn and Scotty's Magical Nicaraguan wedding. The bride chose our Celestine dress and accessorized it with the Crystal and Chain Neck Piece, originally shown with our Zultanite dress. From the driftwood inspired arch, to the sunset captures by Natalie Quinn Photography, this is one destination wedding no beach lover can deny!
