The Downtown gown feels right at home in this shoot on the grounds of Middleton Place in Charleston, SC. Between her dreamy pastel silvers and vintage inspired crystal embellishment, this gown has earned its spot in our top ten all time favorites.
Rural Virginia, the softest palette, and regal details set the scene for this editorial shoot. Iolite, our sequined silk georgette caftan, is luxe in fabric and detailing and laid-back in silhouette. The location for Emily and Sean's destination wedding was inspired by their Irish heritage and their shared love of travel. They chose an Irish country estate near the seaside town of Kinsale to host their fifty guests and set the stage for their intimate festivities. The group enjoyed two glorious days of unseasonably sunny weather, taking in the countryside and enjoying local music and food.
Emily and Sean took their first look photos at the historic Charles Fort. The couple exchanged their personally crafted vows, after which they jigged up the aisle to the traditional Irish reel, Red Haired Lass. Emily knew our Anthorium skirt would be the perfect complement to the pastoral setting, and it turned out to be a total jaw-dropper. Just check out Sean's face during that first look! The bride paired her Anthorium with a customized Plie bodice. Another little detail about this day that made it extra sweet for us? Emily's sister and matron of honor, Allison, wore our Bryant dress in claret.
You know how they say everything is bigger in Texas? It's clear that this love is like that. Rachel and Kevin mixed clean lines and modern sensibility with their rustic setting and turned out an event just as chic as can be. They chose lucite details, lots of white and an altar that seemed just made to frame the sun. The style certainly carried though to the wedding part too! Check out those bridesmaids in pantsuits and super dapper dudes. We love the crisp contours of our Heritage Bustier + La Reine Skirt (simplified) in this setting, specifically the juxtaposition of this combo in the fields of prairie grass and against the expanse of corrugated metal. Rachel and Kevin under those clouds, against the clear blue sky, saying I do as the sun sets...if there is a more storybook setting for starting your life as husband and wife we can't imagine it. Congratulations you two!

The refined styling by Emma Natter let the gowns headline in this shoot captured by D'Arcy Benincosa. These dresses have one thing in common, yards and yards of flowing fabric. Nothing compliments the diaphanous beauties more than a little movement. Our ruffled overdress, Euphorbia, is stunning contrasted against the backdrop of multiple arched windows at Wadsworth Mansion. While our layered natural white, ivory, and nude silk chiffon and crepe de chine Celestine rests in a niche along with the most beautiful blooms. Simplicity at its finest.
Have you ever fantasized about eloping? Just you, your love and a gown, wherever your heart desires? This inspiration shoot has us nearly sold on the option. Follow in Beth Morgan Cowan's footsteps and kick out whatever tradition doesn't suit you and fill the space with personal touches like she did here with rugged terrain, edginess, and raw beauty. The ritual exchange of vows should be emblematic of your love. We say, only hold on to the customs that speak to you and always wear the dress of your dreams.
Undeniably opulent interiors exude European charm, perfect for this Parisian inspired wedding editorial, captured by Alba Rose Photography. The simple styling allows our Senara gown to take center stage among the stone arches and terracotta tiled hallways. The dusty mauves and soft light make each shot feel like a painterly portrait. Shanna chose our La Reine skirt and Alliette bustier. She and John were married at one of the most stately alters after being serenaded by Scottish bagpipes. Following the ceremony the couple entertained their guests at the Liberty House in Jersey City. Dancing the night away in one of the most decadent ballrooms around, with killer views of Manhattan none-the-less. Congratulations you two!
