Allison and Mark had a classic wedding overlooking the Philadelphia skyline, and the day was full of special moments and happy tears. The bride wore the intricately seamed Ilia gown, and she completed her bridal look with fresh flowers and delicate diamond studs (gifted to her by Mark!).

The timeless celebration ended with some epic bottle popping on the Franklin Institute’s rooftop.

Wedding Inspiration: Moody Modern with Lutosa, Delicata and Ilia

We love ourselves some moody wedding inspiration.

Take this styled shoot by Color Pop Events, for example. Union Park’s exposed brick and modern atmosphere called for something a little more impactful, and they delivered with chic tableware and bright pops of floral.

Speaking of impactful, our gowns were beautifully contrasted against a dramatically dark wall. The lighting really captured Lutosa’s metallic sheen, Delicata’s delicate tulle and Ilia’s intricate seaming, proving that sometimes, life calls for dramatics.

We love the way this bride-to-be styled the Ilia gown with unexpected pops of black while still using a fairly traditional bridal color palette. It only takes a few details to totally change the vibe of your look. Take Ilia for example! The curve hugging trumpet silhouette is also classically “bridal,” but the angular seams that cut across the bodice, hips, and booty throw her firmly into the modern realm!
