Real Weddings: Meet Ronni

Ronni and Pete met while attending Virginia Tech where they were both working towards their Bachelors of Architecture. When they discovered 1000 Old Locke Lane, after relocating to Richmond, there was no question about where they would get married. The house was designed by modernist architect Richard Neutra. It sits on Locke Island overlooking the James River and truly is a hidden mid-century modern architectural landmark. Because the majority of Neutra’s life’s work exists on the west coast, this property was an amazing discovery for two architecture lovers. Ronni and Pete brought in lots of bright flowers and some mod lounge furniture and let the space do the rest. Ronni was a vision in our Kyanite dress. We think it’s easy jersey and dramatic cowl back made it the perfect dress for this laid-back, mod fête!
